A wedding feast
was held in honor of Achilles’ parents. A lot of nobility were invited; even
gods and goddesses came to grace the special event. But Eris, goddess of mischief
and discord, was not invited. As a result, she dropped (1) golden apple in (2) middle of the banquet with a note attached to
it, saying: “To (3) fairest of the gods.” Athena, Hera, and Aphrodite
hurriedly claimed the golden apple and were starting to argue and fight among
themselves. In the end, they asked Zeus to be (4) judge that would determine who the fairest one

appointed Paris, Prince of Troy, to be the judge instead of him. Knowing that
